68-Year-Old Female Passenger Killed in Head-On Collision near Mashell Prairie Road

EATONVILLE, WA (June 20, 2024) – One woman died Wednesday afternoon, in a head-on collision on State Route 7.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m., near Mashell Prairie Road on June 5th.

According to reports, a pickup truck traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lanes, causing a head-on collision with another pickup truck.

The impact resulted in the death of a 68-year-old female passenger in the northbound truck, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been disclosed by the police.

Furthermore, at least three people were extricated from the wreckage, with two sustaining life-threatening injuries. Responders transported all the victims to the hospital.

Emergency crews blocked the surrounding lanes, just north of Mashell Prairie Road, during the clearing operations.

No additional information has been released, and an active investigation into the fatal car crash on State Route 7 is ongoing.
