Three Dead, Suspect Arrested after DUI Accident near Shea Boulevard
FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ (June 24, 2024) – Victor Coralles, Emilia Rodriquez, and Jesus Nunez-Rodriquez died Sunday morning in a crash on northbound State Route 87.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m., near Shea Boulevard on May 26th.
Per reports, Jose Serrano-Orduno was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche southbound in the northbound lanes. This resulted in a head-on collision with a Ford F-150 driven by 25-year-old Coralles.
Due to the severity of the crash, medics pronounced 25-year-old Coralles, 42-year-old Rodriguez, and 26-year-old Nunez-Rodriguez dead at the scene.
Paramedics transported Serrano-Orduno to a nearby hospital. After his discharge, authorities charged him with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and endangerment.
An active investigation is currently ongoing to gather further details about the incident.
