Tucked between Hollywood Park and the Intuit Dome in the heart of the Stadium District and within walking distance of all the venues sits The Anthem Hotel, the first lifestyle hotel to debut in the entertainment hub, with 179 newly renovated rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar, and a sprawling pool area.

The oversized pool is framed by the Soundwave Pool Bar, and a hand-painted mural wraps the entire pool deck, replicating the movement of a soundwave. The Stage rooftop offers skyline views, craft cocktails, and live performances. Just behind The Stage sits Backstage, a 1,285-square-foot interior space.

Tom’s Watch Bar overlooks Hollywood Park from its perch above Century Blvd. and has a full food and beverage program and an “Ultimate Sports Watching Experience”.

Ten minutes from LAX,  20 minutes to the beach and just steps from Intuit Dome, SoFi Stadium, Kia Forum, and YouTube Theater, an overnight stay at the Anthem, which is part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is an option to relieve the stress of driving and the cost of parking at SoFi.  Summer season rooms are available for rates as low as $147 to $182 for Hilton club members.

As part of the FIFA World Cup celebration, the hotel has added a  new Soccer Legends Suite available now for booking.  The suite is an immersive treat for soccer fans and kicked off with a visit and donations from former teammates Tony Sanneh, Joe-Max Moore, and Jeff Agoos from the 2002 United States Men’s National Team.

Sanneh, recently inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame, played an important part in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, playing every minute of every game. Mathis was a key forward for the United States Men’s National Team during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, making three appearances and scoring a memorable goal to help the U.S. advance to the quarterfinals.  Agoos, also in the National Soccer Hall of Fame, was a veteran defender starting in three matches for the United States in the FIFA World Cup.

At the center of the suite is a bed inside a goalpost,  Sanneh’s US National Team Jersey, a Damarcus Beasley 2002 World Cup game-worn jersey, Sanneh’s  Hall of Fame US Soccer Scarves, and Landon Donovan customized embroidered cleats, among other wall-to-wall memorabilia and photos.

A portion ion of proceeds from those who stay in the Soccer Legends Suite through the World Cup season will be donated to The Sanneh Foundation for bookings made throughout the games. Sahheu started the foundation, after retiring from the LA Galaxy and professional soccer, to empower youth, improve lives, and unite communities through sports, education, health, and programs that advance diversity, equity, and well-being.
