Multiple Injured after Woman Drives into Stater Bros Supermarket

RIALTO, CA (October 14, 2022) – Monday morning, several victims were injured in a car accident on East Baseline Road.

The incident happened around 9:45 a.m., at the 100 block of East Baseline Road.

According to reports, a Toyota Tundra driver was attempting to park at a handicap spot. She did not put her vehicle in park, and mistook the brake for the gas pedal.

As a result, the pickup-truck went 30 feet through the Stater Bros store and hit multiple cash registers.

In total, two people sustained significant injuries, while five other people complained about pain. The 74-year-old female Toyota driver was also transported to a hospital as a precaution.

At this time, the identities of those involved in the incident have not been made public. Rialto Officials continue to investigate the collision.
