Motorcycle Thief Killed in Crash on Roscoe Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 28, 2022) – A stolen motorcycle crash on Roscoe Boulevard claimed the life of Ruben Contreras Jr. Thursday afternoon.

According to the police, Contreras fled from the authorities in a stolen motorcycle in the 22800 block of West Roscoe Boulevard around 1:15 pm.

Afterward, the suspect slammed into a car going in the opposite way.

Furthermore, the impact of the crash ejected Contreras 100 feet in the air before landing on the sidewalk.

Eventually, the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and pronounced 30-year-old Ruben Contreras Jr. dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics treated 2 people involved with unspecified injuries at the scene.

Los Angeles Officials are investigating the West Hills motorcycle incident.
