38-Year-Old Rider Injured in Motorcycle Collision near Fairmount Avenue

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 27th, 2024) – One rider was hurt early Saturday morning, in a motorcycle accident at the 4400 block of Fairmount Avenue and Aldine Drive.

Police officers responded to the scene around 12:32 a.m., on June 15th.

Officers say a 38-year-old man on a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stopped at the intersection of Aldine Drive and Fairmont Avenue for a stop sign. A 32-year-old rider traveling behind him failed to stop in time and rear-ended the motorcyclist.

As a result, one of the motorcyclists sustained serious injuries while the other rider was unharmed.
