Two Pronounced Dead after Single-Car Accident near West Hatch Road

STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (June 20, 2024)Pedro Ruiz Rivera and Nathaniel Perez died early Sunday morning, in a single-car accident on South Carpenter and West Hatch Road.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m.

Police officers say the driver of a northbound 2008 Honda Accord lost control on South Carpenter Road. The Honda collided with an island and a signal pole at the intersection.

Emergency medical personnel arrived and pronounced the two occupants of the vehicle dead at the scene. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 19-year-old Rivera and 20-year-old Perez.
