55-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead, 2 Hospitalized after Pedestrian Collision near Blodgett Street

HOUSTON, TX (June 20, 2024) – One man died Monday night, and two other men sustained injuries in a pedestrian collision on Fannin and Blodgett Street. Police officers responded to the scene around 9:00 p.m., on June 3rd. Investigators say the driver of a four-door sedan collided with another vehicle before striking the curb. The car then proceeded onto the sidewalk and struck three pedestrians. At the scene, a 55-year-old man died, while emergency responders transported two other men, aged 44 and 45, to the hospital in serious condition. Currently, the public has no further details available regarding the hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Fannin Street; however, authorities will release more information when it becomes accessible.
