One Pronounced Dead after Slamming into House on Elm Street

GRAHAM, TX (June 18, 2024)Juan Aguilera died Saturday night in a police chase crash on South and Elm Street.

Police officers responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., on June 8th.

Per reports, 21-year-old Aguilera was driving recklessly in a gray Chevrolet Silverado.

Authorities attempted to stop Aguilera, but he fled, leading to a pursuit. Aguilera then sped northbound on Elm Street, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into another car before slamming into a residential house.

The house was occupied by six people, including a 1-year-old infant. Emergency crews found the six occupants injured and transported them to Graham Regional Medical Center. Their injuries included a fractured skull, a broken leg, and multiple lacerations and abrasions.

Aguilera sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by police. No further information has been released.

The Graham Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety are handling the investigation.
