12-Year-Old Boy Suffers Medical Emergency at Wild Rivers Waterpark in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, CA (June 24, 2024) – Saturday morning, a 12-year-old boy suffered a medical emergency at a Wild Rivers Water Park. The incident happened around 11:07 a.m., at the water park located at the 10000 block of Great Park Boulevard, in Irvine.

Water park officials released a statement indicating that a young boy experienced a medical emergency near a pool in the park.

Emergency responders treated the boy at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Despite their efforts, the 12-year-old boy was later pronounced dead.
