24-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident on Pacific Avenue
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 5, 2024) – Alfonso Rodriguez died early Thursday morning, in a motorcycle collision at the 5981 block of Limonite Avenue.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m., near Pacific Avenue on May 28th.
Officers report that the driver of a vehicle failed to stop in time and collided with a motorcyclist in the area. Following the impact, the driver fled the scene without notifying the police. First responders found the motorcyclist on the road with life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities identified the victim as 24-year-old Rodriguez from Riverside.
Investigators were eventually able to track down the suspect driver. However, no arrests or citations have been announced at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the crash on Limonite Avenue is urged to contact local police as soon as possible.
