Three Hurt in Crash near Wilshire Boulevard in Brentwood

BRENTWOOD,CA (March 7, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, three victims were injured in an auto accident on San Vicente Boulevard.

Los Angeles Police arrived to the 11500 block of San Vicente Boulevard, near Wilshire Boulevard around 1:30 a.m.

According to reports, an SUV drove through a homeless encampment near Los Angeles National Veterans Park. Due to the impact of the collision, three people were hurt.

Shortly after, paramedics arrived and treated the injured victims. Reports indicate that they denied transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

In addition, the driver of the SUV stayed on scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Department personnel used special equipment to remove the vehicle from the crash site. A video from the scene showed a massive hole in a steel fence near a row of tents where the SUV came to a rest.

At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the driver to veer off the road. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
