Two Men Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Manning Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (July 3, 2024) Angel Reyes and Andres Rivero Jr. died Saturday night in a two-car collision on Englehart Avenue.

The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., near Manning Avenue.

According to reports, the driver of a southbound Chevrolet Malibu failed to stop at a posted stop sign, leading to a collision with a westbound Ford F-150.

Medics pronounced two occupants of the Chevy dead at the scene. They were later identified as 25-year-old Reyes from Dinuba and 36-year-old Rivero Jr. from Reedley.

The occupants of the F-150 sustained minor injuries, though it is unclear if any were hospitalized. The CHP is currently investigating whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the incident.

Fresno County Officials are requesting any witnesses to the fatal two-vehicle crash on Englehart Avenue to contact them immediately.
